Cathy Camper is a Lebanese American librarian and author of Lowriders in Space (Chronicle, 2014), Lowriders to the Center of the Earth (Chronicle, 2016), and Bugs Before Time: Prehistoric Insects and their Relatives (Simon & Schuster, 2002). She has a forthcoming picture book about an Arab-American girl and her grandmother called Ten Ways to Hear Snow. She currently works at Multnomah County Library School Corps, in Portland, Oregon, doing outreach to schools grades K-12.
